Generating high-ticket leads for a specialized dental practice

I worked with a dental practice specializing in maxillofacial surgery to develop targeted campaigns for complex procedures. Through clear communication and strategic positioning, we achieved 14x ROAS while generating €60,000 in revenue from high-ticket procedures.

The opportunity

ProDent specializes in advanced maxillofacial implants using innovative techniques that anchor to jaw structures rather than bone. This addresses a critical need for patients with severe bone loss who can’t receive traditional implants. The procedures cost €10,000-€40,000 and can be completed in 24 hours versus months-long traditional treatments.

There was a clear opportunity to service patients who had been turned away by other practices, and ProDent’s specialized expertise commanded premium pricing that few other practitioners could justify.

The challenge

Marketing these high-value procedures required overcoming multiple psychological barriers. The target audience, primarily older patients from lower socioeconomic backgrounds, faced fear of excessive costs, anxiety about surgical procedures, and skepticism about being exploited by medical professionals.

Many potential patients choose overseas clinics in Albania or Croatia for cheaper alternatives, often with poor outcomes. Additionally, the practice owners’ tendency toward formal medical language created communication barriers with their less-educated target demographic.

The limited €600 monthly ad budget ruled out complex funnel strategies, requiring direct response approaches that converted cold traffic efficiently.

A strategy for clarity

Rather than competing on price or using complex funnels, we positioned ProDent around their unique 24-hour treatment advantage and established expertise. We started addressing cost concerns through payment plans, emphasizing the speed advantage over traditional implants, and building confidence through success stories.

Communication avoided medical jargon, focusing instead on practical benefits. The patients can eat normally again, smile confidently, and regain quality of life. We positioned the procedures as investments in health and self-esteem rather than medical expenses.

Designing for conversion

I created direct-response top-of-funnel ads for Facebook/Instagram campaigns and a dedicated landing page. The campaigns used clear, empathetic messaging that acknowledged patient fears and emphasized the speed and success of the procedures.

The landing page emphasized the 24-hour transformation promise, featured payment plan options prominently, and walked potential patients through the entire process to reduce uncertainty, conveying friendly professionalism without intimidation.

Narratives focused on relatable patient journeys, emphasizing emotional transformations and the substantial improvement in quality of life.

Technical implementation

I handled the entire campaign direction and setup: copywriting for ads and landing pages, video editing, UI design, and technical integrations connecting the landing page to the sales pipeline.

The system generated consistent results with minimal ongoing investment. Facebook campaigns drive a lot of volume while Google traffic to the landing page achieves conversion rates at 1.5%, typical for inbound traffic in the industry, all on a shoestring budget.
